TV Obsession

I think I'm addicted to Choo-Choo Soul. It's just so damned groovy! Ok, enough chit-chat, Genevieve's coming on, and I've gotta run!

Christmas 2006

We'll being our tale with Christmas 2006. I've been out of commission the past couple of weeks so I'll be doing all this from memory. QT took the last of his vacation time so that the 3 of us could spend the holiday back home. Fortunately, we flew out the day before the BIG BLIZZARD hit back home that crippled the Denver airport. A friend of mine (The Oz) had graciously offered to check on our cats while we were away, but she was unable to get to the house for a couple of days because of the snow. Here are a couple of pictures she took of our house when she was finally able to get through.
Since we weren't going to be in Texas through the new year, we took advantage of our time there to celebrate Pumpkin's 2nd birthday with our families. Actually, that decision was very spur-of-the-moment. We met Grandma Toni for lunch at Peter Piper on Wednesday afternoon, and by the time we finished lunch, I'd booked Pumpkin's birthday party for that Friday, hehe. We just had time to call everyone and order a "Mo" birthday cake from Cakeland (yummy, yummy). Probably due to the holidays, we pretty much had Peter Piper all to ourselves for the party. My niece Sofia even crashed another birthday party that was taking place at PP that night and managed to score herself a bag of goodies. In all, everyone went home happy.

Here's Pumpkin using the PC in Grandma's office. He must be doing at least 100 wpm! Heck, he's probably talking to Joshua for all I know, haha. (hint: you'll need to rotate your screen clockwise to see it correctly--or just swivel your head, it's easier ;)

This video was recorded around Halloween 2006 when Pumpkin was 1.75 years old.
